Pros

I found that my co-workers were pretty supportive and helpful. I learned far more from my peers than I did from my manager or upper management.

Cons

Randstad cultivates a culture of fear. Employees are looked at only for their numbers. It seemed that every time the Dutch HQ had a new idea for how to structure branches and drive sales, everyone had to completely shift existing processes.

Pros

If you have a great manager you have good flexibility

Cons

They do not pay employees enough for the amount of workload given. They rather hire people from retail and hospitality majority of the time because they are unaware of the staffing industry. Low pay especially with experience Too many organizational changes and turnover Micromanage a lot of the time. I would not recommend this company if you have experience in the industry but would be good for someone starting off with no experience. Talking with current/ former employees they do not see the value of training and it doesn't make sense since training is 3 months and you can't get commissions during that time. Even if they push training back a month or two from you starting. Now bonuses are based on a branch basis and if your team is not hitting quota you get nothing! They will lie to you so beware!!!!!

Pros

As a client contractor pay was decent and on time that's all

Cons

This company's focus appears to be only on profits, with little regard for the well-being of its employees. During the month of December, they offered a $3,000 bonus, but it seemed like only a single person stood a chance to win from a pool of individuals who had worked more than 160 hours that month. During a time when most people are cherishing the holidays, spending quality time with loved ones, and enjoying some well-deserved downtime. It was genuinely disheartening to receive that email. I would have been overjoyed if, instead, they had shown a small token of appreciation, like a $5 gift card, to all their employees, along with a heartfelt message encouraging us to enjoy the holidays. That email made me seriously contemplate whether I want to continue working for a company that doesn't value the thoughtfulness and well-being of its employees and that I should seek an employer that appreciates its employees more deeply.
