I sent my resume by a job bored for a marketing associate job. I got a call regarding my application maybe about a day later asking to come in. Turns out it was a job recruiting agency. Fine I was willing to get any help I could get but that's just it no help was giving. The marketing job was not brought up once and instead I was offered sales job and even. Staff position at the recruiting agency it self. Well it's been 2 weeks and I have not heard back from them. This is how this works. They post a job on a bored act like the are the hiring manager, meet with you to decide if you are right for the position, then decide if they should send your resume or not. After that they then promise to help you look for a job even tho they have nothing for you. Waste of time.

Ranstad does not consider the "human" part of the term "human capital" we were hired to do a project for the state of Illinois in downtown Chicago. It was a disaster from the start, as we were lied to about having PTO, overtime opportunities, and advancement opportunities. The project was unstable and management was unresponsive and to top it off, the building we worked in was INFESTED with bed bugs. Randstad did not address us about the many changes that were taking place, it was if they simply fit their quota to put warm bodies in seats and forgot about us. They even had the audacity to ask us for referrals! Avoid Randstad if you can. Once they place you and get their cut from your service, you have fulfilled your duties to them and will be (mis)treated as such.
