Pros

The only one I can think of is to make money for a short time if nothing else is available.

Cons

1. There is a high turnover of placement coordinators, or agents, or whatever you choose to call them. Thus, it is difficult to build any kind of useful business relationship with them. 2. They staffed for Merrill Lynch. 3. You have to bug them and bug them about work, and when I called - after an interview - they had trouble remembering me. 4. A previous placement coordinator neglected to inform me that the regular weekly position I had was canceled one week. I showed up at my assignment, ready to work, only to be told I would have to go home and that I wouldn't get paid. Considering the burden of information sharing was on the part of Randstad, and it was due to their poor communication and management that I wasn't told I wasn't needed, I felt cheated.

Pros

Randstad does spend alot of money on give aways and entertainment. You can take clients to just about anything they would like to do and taking them to very nice places for diner is not problem. If you are into entertaining and never being at home then this is the place to work.

Cons

They do not listen to what clients say are issues, management is not in touch with people that do the real work.

Pros

It's a job and money if you are in need.... not a dependable one since they continuously lay off and hire from the Randstad offshore teams in India. Main perk used to be flexibility and remote work, but they laid off the entire American marketing team last week and half of Data Engineering and other IT teams over the last month, now they are "embracing a hybrid environment". So idk maybe in the offices they have cool snacks or something.

Cons

- your bonus will never be close to what they tell you, if you get one at all. - no meaningful pay raises in 3 years, including after their most successful year in company history. - when people quit they do not backfill the position, they all the responsibilities onto you and your team. - they continuously change internal structures to "specialize" in areas and it causes lots of confusion - managers have little management training and will not support you in growth - they've laid off large groups in the US multiple times over the last 2 years in the field but also in IT, marketing, and elsewhere causing breaks in systems, and a thoroughly frustrated and angry environment - managers multiple times chastise women in the marketing department on their tone and their qualifications, going so far as to rewatch meeting recordings at leadership team's weekly to discuss certain women's tones in which they share their expertise.
