Pros

Flexible work environment Nice coworkers

Cons

- old, Frankensteined systems - lack of organization in project requests, executions, management - "misleading" bonus structure --> base/target bonus is 10% of salary, stretch 20%, max 30%. That is outlined upon hire and job offer. We just had our literally best year ever and the execs tell us how happy we should be because we are getting "125% of target!", well that is 12.5%. So just be aware it is likely impossible to ever get more than 12.5% of bonus if this was the best year in company history and that's all we got.

Pros

Excellent company culture. Professional development opportunities. They do a good job of taking on your work load when you are out on PTO.

Cons

The job itself is terrible. Recruiting & sales are call center style. You are the career advisor for low quality temp to hire talent. It’s like trying to coach people whose parents never cared or disciplined them. Frustrating. Sales is sometimes put in positions that undermine the work and trust they build with their clients. An unreliable product makes it hard to believe in what you are doing. There are also issues paying the talent and it’s not resolved in a timely manner. Many of these talent are below the poverty line, and a late paycheck can ruin their life. Sometimes you are on the receiving end of those panicked and angry calls. Sometimes you worry about retaliation and violence. Not worth it. No one wants to die at work. Sometimes management gaslights. Great interoffice communication, but so many meetings can overwhelm and verge on micromanaging.

Pros

Provides 1st step into recruiting which opens up TONS of other career opportunities. Hires non-traditional candidates. Overall GREAT coworkers! If your branch is one of the 'favorites' you will get EVERYTHING you could ask for!

Cons

Slow moving, cumbersome corporation. Lots of policies that 'protect the company' hurt the branch level employees and temps. If your branch ISN'T one of the 'favorites' you will get to see how much fun everyone else is having and see how much money everyone else is making while you get neither. INSANE sales metrics that become harder and harder to achieve as your coworkers slowly dwindle. ALL promotions are based off of said sales metrics and KPI's. Are you a GREAT leader, recruiter, or trainer but not a superstar sales person? You will NEVER get promoted unless you can bring in a set amount of revenue.
