Managemnt have zero concept other than "this is how we have always done it." No future thinkers whatsoever.

Pros

I really enjoyed the people I worked with and the type of work we did. Our product is savings. How hard could it be to convince somebody to save their own money? Oddly enough it can be challenging.

Cons

There is a micromanagement aspect to this job. There is a lot of pressure to perform and no paid vacation time.

Thank you for the review and we always value feedback. We do realize that the sales position is very requiring; but it is consistent with other similar businesses/positions. From you feedback, we will work to ensure that individuals hired into the position understand all aspects of the job requirements so that they can make the best decision. Knowing that we have high performance expectations we do try to offer not only nice financial rewards but events outside of work that are Company paid. Also, we do offer PTO (Paid Personal Time Off) to our employees; we don't call it vacation, but we do offer PTO for more flexibility. Again, we always value your feedback and I wish you would have set up an appointment with HR prior to your departure.

Pros

If you don't have a lot of professional development experience it's a good place to acquire it. Altho the codebase that I developed on when I was there was fairly old and dated it was well designed for it's time.

Cons

Salaries were not competitive and promotions and raises were not as merit based as they ought to be. The people who received recognition, when I was there, were not always the people who deserved recognition, etc.
