Pros

Hi guys, I currently work at RateMyAgent and it's by far the best company I've ever work for! Everyone is so friendly, plenty of awesome products in the making. The business loves new technology and staff to really drive success. Beers and games on Friday's and occasionally a company BBQ, RateMyAgent is what I call my family.

Cons

Cleaners accidentally switch the beer fridge off :( So when 4:00pm comes on a Friday surprise beers a warm! But easily fixed when management do a cheeky bottle run.

Stay away. Bad CEO. Firing people on a whim.

Pros

Beer fridge Free food Several nice people

Cons

The CEO has no clue what he's doing and dictates what teams do, down to the button colour and what the designs should look like. There is NO trust or autonomy from the execs. They fire people so easily and just made 8 people redundant recently. STAY AWAY. In the last few months 5 or 6 people have left from the dev team. They pay people poorly too.

Pros

Great culture, genuine people who care about the product/company and want it to succeed. Your good work is celebrated and shared- I feel highly valued. Plenty of opportunity for feedback, for growth and development. Working with other teams is encouraged and product teams listen to customer-facing teams to improve the product for the customers. Company is very transparent in our direction and goals and how we can achieve them.

Cons

Not much structure around new staff training/onboarding/rescources to learn - (I can only speak to sales team) - it's a lot of observing and picking it up as you go or asking someone else and taking time out of their day. Only now is the company working on scripting/templates/collateral for Sales - currently most of it is created/made and differs between staff so doesn't do the product justice.
