Pros

There are absolutely no pros.

Cons

This company is a complete and total pyramid scheme. First off, they advertise themselves as an actual marketing company for Fortune 500s, which they are absolutely not. The only thing that you will be doing during this job is traveling around the state to various Walmarts for 10 hours a day and harassing people into buying Xfinity internet products that nobody wants. They also advertise a lucrative salary on their job posting but in the interview you find out that it is entirely commission-based and the commission for selling ONE internet product is like $10-$20. You will end up LOSING money working at this company. In addition, they don't compensate you for travel expenses so you will end up putting hundreds of miles on your car driving sometimes over an hour to get to a random Walmart in a far corner of the state and end up making no money all day. My advice: STAY AWAY from this scam company and look for a real job.

Pros

They encourage you every day to be your best and perform well. If you love sales this is a great opportunity.

Cons

Raven is a direct sales company that sells Xfinity services at Walmart. They advertise multiple positions on their LinkedIn but most of them are a lie. I got a position in "sports marketing" which was a lie. I spent 8 hours a day at Walmart. Every day you are required to drive to the office and then to Walmart where you ask shoppers to sign up for Xfinity services. It is a 100% commission base. They tell you that you will be paid for training but I was never paid. If you don't perform well at the job they will fire you. They should be honest with everyone and just say it is a sales role.

Pros

The people are great and encouraging. They’ll make you feel like you can do anything.

Cons

Upon being interviewed I was lead to believe I would be a marketing associate planning events and helping grow a brand. I thought that In just 6 months I could be making a 75,000 salary as an junior executive but it wasn’t as attainable as I thought. Although it’s possible to make it to that point it would take much longer than 6 months, and very few people made it that Far. The turnover rate is insane. The “events” I attended are actually just standing at a table all day trying to sell xfinity in Walmart to innocent shoppers. The hours are insane, I was expected to work basically 8am-7:30pm 6 days a week. There is no base pay and I was meant to rely solely on commission only. So basically if I didn’t make a sale one day i worked for free... the Walmart’s are all over the state and i had to take MY own car and wasn’t reimbursed for mileage. There’s no work/life balance. It’s basically set up similar to a pyramid scheme where I interviewed people to be on my team and then as my team grew I would get “promoted.” If a sales position is what you’re looking for than this is for you. If you were looking for a marketing role, look elsewhere.
