      Pros

      I enjoyed my time at Raymond James. The people were very smart and kind to one another. I worked in the Canadian subsidiary.

      Cons

      The firm is way too conservative. It attracts more old folks rather than young, fresh talent.

      Pros

      Very compliance oriented. They do everything "by the books" and take great caution in staying within the regulator guidelines. Operations/Middle Office group is great at clearing trades and handling settlement issues.

      Cons

      This firm lacks diversity in its hiring process. During my time there I would estimate that 90+% of the salesforce were Caucasian.
