      Great opportunity to see the breadth of the business domain for wealth management. High quality professional talent in corporate headquarters in St Petersburg.

      Cons

      Quality of executive leadership is rapidly degrading. Lots of key contributors in technology, operations and product centers are moving on.

      Pros

      There are great opportunities if you are in the Tampa area. There are some really great people that work at RJ as well. Great retirement programs.

      Cons

      You can't go above your department manager's head because the director of the sector will just throw it back to your boss. He's hands off which can be good but it make him out of touch as in this case. There is a constant battle between departments. I hadn't had a review in over a year nor had our manager visited our office yet they took the word of others from a different sector because he was saving his own job. He wanted to point the finger at others. The politics continues to be an issue.

      Pros

      Steady job. Same sex benefits. Fun Halloween parties. Depending on your department training is good. Some jobs will get you cert sponsorship.

      Cons

      Low pay. Hard to get promoted from within. Office culture is stressful. Someone is always looking over your shoulder.
