Once a Great Place to Work, Now Defined by Layoffs and Fear

Pros

There are still some incredibly talented and hardworking people at RealPage who genuinely care about clients and each other. The experience and relationships you build with colleagues can be valuable for your career.

Cons

Unfortunately, RealPage has taken a major downturn over the past few years. There have been constant layoffs with no backfills, which leaves remaining employees stretched thin and overworked. Merit increases are minimal or nonexistent, and leadership’s focus seems to be solely on cutting costs and moving roles overseas rather than investing in employees or improving the customer experience. There’s also growing fear among staff due to restrictive noncompetes and threats of legal action against those who try to move to other companies in the same industry. Morale is very low, and there’s no clear vision or transparency from executives about the company’s long-term direction—other than chasing profit.

Pros

Remote options Diverse Flexible which is the most valued perk

Cons

Constant changes organizationally which I causes Prioritization to be a nightmare. Upward mobility in pay and career is stagnant and there has never been any clear roadmap to change that.
