Life at RealPage

Pros

I love the collaboration with all departments at RealPage. It is a fun working environment, RealPage Volunteer opportunities, and so much more!

Cons

I don't prefer the medical benefits. I am strongly against the deductible based plans, too much out of pocket for employees before insurance kicks in, and it's expensive insurance on top of it.

Thank you for your post....I'm glad you like the culture and it can be a lot of fun to work here. Our Med plans are locked in for 2019 and they are industry norms as to the design and cost. All in all it sounds like you are off to a very good start. Wishing you a great career. Sincerely, Kurt Twining

Getting better

Pros

Nice people, nice office, benefits are ok, fun but stressful, changes every day, college classes at the office to further knowledge.

Cons

No training, low pay and it is hard to get raises to get into your pay bracket, difficult to advance, some management, too much control hungry departments and it doesn't feel like some areas want to work together and like to push the mistakes over the wall.

Thank you for your post. I'm glad you enjoy your Co-workers and the office environment. I'd like to discuss two things with you. 1) Is your rate of pay. I will be happy to pull all the data down as it relates to you and your peers and we can have a full fact conversation where you stand. I noted that you stated that promotional increases are counted as merit if you are within 3-4 months of the merit. That is just not true. I see compensation changes monthly tied to people changing jobs and accountability. so take me up on this confidential review. The next point is in house training, we are about to sign a contract with DDI for their entire portfolio of training which will be make available to everyone via their manager. They provide a series of very informative skills learning that you might find interesting. Again, call me or let me buy you lunch and you can be like several others who have received specific insight and data on their own personal situation. I would like to work with you. Sincerely, Kurt Twining X4016

Pros

Easy job to maintain- you basically have to fire yourself. Standard vacay and pto. Pretty good culture-not a standard contact center very professional,

Cons

Starting pay just increased for the first time in over 3 years.! Company decided to cancel merit increases for seasoned employees and start them at the same rate of pay as new hires ! No upward mobility only “lateral moves” so either way no pay increases... and let’s not talk about the “bonuses” that they tax as gifts which is roughly 40% which makes a $100 “bonus” $64
