Pros

Nice people for the most part

Cons

This company has way too many lying and manipulating people at the top who have extremely bad morals. Lied to employees about layoffs and said that they wouldn’t happen when they did end up happening. In the mean time they were spending hundreds of thousands of dollars to send “top sales performers” on an all expenses paid trip across the South of France for a week. Extremely disappointed in many peoples low morals and values at this company to “reward” the actual hard workers with merit cuts and layoffs while sending people who are handed sales deals by their managers an all expenses paid vacation. I would seriously reconsider before thinking about working at a company with such low values. Many inside people hate their jobs and are desperately trying to get out.

Wide pay variations

Pros

I love my co-workers and have seen a lot of improvements over the years. My immediate manager is very supportive.

Cons

There are serious variations in pay of long time employees and new blood coming in. The only way to get paid what you are worth is to leave and come back. While I got a higher than normal pay raise this year, I am still $15k under someone that was hired last year with no experience in the specific area. There has been a significant issue of not having enough resources to handle the workload for years. The common theme is that we don't have enough resources to handle the various jobs. If someone is out due to vacation or illness, the entire department suffers and it takes weeks to get back to "normal". Managers often work nights and weekends just to keep up.

Thank you for your post. Knowing that you love your co-workers, have a supportive leader and did get a higher than normal pay raise that is a good starting point. I have an open door policy on any HR issue and I would like to sit down with you confidentially and review your pay and compare it to the market. I will show all the data, and lets take a hard look at your situation together. Please call me at x4016 if you truly want to address this concern, other wise, anonymous is impossible to review...I will buy you lunch as it is important to all of us to take care of top performers. Thanks Kurt Twining

This place is a joke.

Pros

You can wear anything you want. Even crop-tops and sweatpants, apparently. Because no one does anything about anything here.

Cons

If you want to be treated like a red-headed stepchild, with insane work-life imbalance, no benefits you can use and NO HR IN THE BUILDING, this is the place for you! You'll be glad to know you come to work every day for a corporate office that acts like you're a burden, watch departments shrink in size and the workload poured onto you instead, and watch helplessly as the people who make everything worse are given more and more power and make terrible hiring and training decisions. This place has absolutely no standards. I'd love to know what is so great about working for Realpage. I'd love it if they showed us what it is to BE part of Realpage, because as far as I'm concerned, being "Realpage" is being served empty platitudes and high expectations.

Thank you for you post. Recently, the employees of Lombard took a pulse survey and I requested to see that data last week prior to seeing your post. We have some work to do. The fact that you took the time to give some advice means you truly care about what is going around you in the "work home". This survey data was also shared with your division leader last Friday. I expect some attention will be forthcoming on that front. In the short term, I will be sending some HR support to your location to hold some roundtables with employees that hopefully will help us in making this location stronger. There is a lot to like about working for RealPage, unfortunately this acquisition still has opportunity that will be addressed. Sincerely Kurt Twining
