      Rapid Change for the Worse - Beware NEW OWNERSHIP

      Great people, friendly staff, some colleagues in supporting teams work hard to support senior sales staff. Some managers in REV Operations and Contracting work hard to support sales staff throught DEAL approvals. HR in very weak and seems they do not advocate for their loyal employees. Recent events are a great representation of such. You will not get support or any assistance. They are eually afraid of loosing their jobs. About the new owner TB. Their first action was to cut $100 MILLION in payroll. Obvisouly to raise stock price by raising income. The previous owner operated in a completely different manner, the culture of RP is eroding as a result. Many of their loyal employees were hand picked by TB likely because they were paid a little more than the average in their rank, since they had tennure. After the acquisition, the vibe just changed. Junior sales reps, great place to get started. Senior Sales entering, be careful of your choices, the higher the package the higher the likelyhood you will be target if you are not able to quickly deliver. Lots of problems in their OneSite accounts. Various cuts in CSM team + IT Support + IT Development + Sales. Lack of support and Clients are feeling this change and reacting badly to buying more. Be strategic how you enter. Ask lots of questions and find out if you can talk to previous reps who left the company.

      Great benefits. Great HQ office. Great learning system for onboarding.

      Employees are replaceable and undervalued

      I’ve continued to grow connections I made during my time there and I’m flourishing elsewhere

      Cons

      The first time I was replaced by outsourcing to the Philippines I believed them when they said they still valued me as an employee. I approached the situation with a positive attitude, leveraged the relationships I had, went on many interviews and turned my lay-off into a promotion within RealPage. Thinking about it now- if they truly valued us, they would have made an effort to find jobs for us beforehand instead of laying off dozens of people and “encouraging” them to re-apply. The second time I was replaced by outsourcing at RealPage I was told it was purely an economical decision and I was “encouraged” to re-apply. I never had a negative performance review during my years at RealPage. I never had a hint that I would be let go a second time except that we were training more and more new employees in Manila.

      Thank you for your post. You may not know this, but your HRDs do review all the open positions to see if we have job matches before we make any people moves. Sometimes the matches are not obvious that is why employees in good standing are encouraged to apply for anything they would like to pursue. Many placements are made this way.       Not a good place to work

      Pros

      Good cafeteria, Onsite Gym with Trainers, Talented Colleagues and Decent compensations.

      Cons

      Highly polluted work environment with too many politics going around. Some People aren't supposed to be managers yet becoming Directors and taking credit of teammates work and showing off to leadership team. Year end reviews and suggestions are of no use. Even though how many times mentioned never got fixed and proper action towards it. Frequent changes in teams without any proper directions.
