Pros

If you like your hand held, and not much expected from you, this is the job for you. On the upside, I felt like RealPage respected that employees had a life, and they understood having a balance of work and home.

Cons

Low pay. There were few opportunities to stand out, go beyond my job. While my boss would tell me that she supported my desire to grow and move up, there was no real career development opportunities.

Pros

Some management does care about you on a personal level. Coworkers become family.

Cons

Overall, the bottom line is the most important and employee resources are depleted to meet unrealistic deadlines. This leads to mass turnover.

Thank your for your post. I appreciate the fact that you enjoyed your co-workers on a high level and found leaders who do care. We do recognize as do all companies that great, not good, leaders are important. That is why we are investing considerable amounts of dollars, time and effort in our three levels of leadership development. Starting with Lead to Exceed all the way to MGL Making Great Leaders. I don't think it is fair to say we have mass turnover, as that is just not true. However in your function it sounds like you experienced a trying situation. I noted that you had departed, so I sincerely hope you can take the good things you learned and experienced while working at RealPage and apply them in your future career. I wish you all the best. Sincerely, Kurt Twining

Pros

Great opportunities if you are looking at the big picture

Cons

Too many people trying to step all over each other to get to the top. Lack of training during on boarding and job descriptions do not necessarily match the actual duties.
