Pros

Where to start.. culture, team, interesting work, great people, great location. I love coming to work every day and interacting with my coworkers. The work is interesting, the people are really fun, the climate is casual and accepting, and the compensation/benefits are top notch.

Cons

Biggest con is the work environment itself--we're right above a bar and right next to CenturyLink field, so it's loud and not so ideal for productivity. Also, we have an open office environment which leads to a lot of ambient noise. Other con is limited opportunities for working from home/telecommuting, which is nice when traffic is awful, which it often is in Seattle.

Am I even going to 'work'?

Pros

The reason I say if I'm even going to 'work' is because I don't associate the typical negativity that is surrounded by that word when I go into the office everyday. I'm always learning something new and i'm surrounded by a fantastic team that is always helpful, encouraging, and inspiring. More importantly, the office space is open and there aren't managers in their private offices. No one acts like they're better than anyone else and every one gets along very well because of that. We can all be our "real" selves and it makes the job that much better. From catered lunches, to a dog-friendly office, to having a keg in the office as well!, it almost feels like a second home. Overall, the company culture is fantastic and I wouldn't change anything about it.

Cons

The only thing I can really think of is that since the company is growing so fast, it can be very busy and fast-paced at times.

Pros

Everyone makes intentional effort to encourage being at work to be something to look forward to. The company is not so new that they don't have any paying customers yet not so old as to be overly-conservative and too set in their ways. They use a lot of tools I like and want to improve.

Cons

The core subject matter can make sharing what you do or working outside the office tricky.
