Pros

I want to be helpful. I want to help job searchers and I want to help our company, too. A pro is that I like some of my colleagues.

Cons

REALTOR.com is a mess. Each department is more unproductive then the next. This company makes extremely impactful changes without considering the impacts. There is no real leadership. Employees are in a constant state of change and have anxiety about whaty's around the corner and what the new in-between CEO will do. Employees are fearful that after major lay offs and pay cuts that more reorganization and restructuring is coming. I don't think the company can take any more negative changes. They don't communicate well and now aren't even doing what is right for our audience and customers either. REALTOR.com bought a company and it doesm't seem like its going well. I'd say that you should not work here and look for a job somewhere else or come back in a couple of years to see where the company lands. Its very uncertain and very volatile now.

Pros

Decent work-life balance and comp. Interesting space with business opportunities.

Cons

Only politics matters, constant territory battles across functions, many leadership changes. Heavily me vs we environment. Worst culture I’ve seen when it comes to collaboration, no real strategy, dated technology and super weak leadership. There are SO many better opportunities in the bay, and I wouldn’t recommend getting into this mess.

Pros

Really hard to think of any pros for this place.

Cons

The management is becoming uglier everyday. No respect even for the full-time employees, as recently as lot of full time employees are let go without providing/considering their needs for no reason. The engineers are respect at the least compared to ask the other departments. I also have seen biased working environment depending on managers nationality. You need to get a doctor's certificate with any stupid reason even to have an adjustable desk. I have never seen this anywhere. You need an approval from VP, to get an extra MacBook charger. The food vending machines are totally stuffed with the cheap and unhealthier food. And all that you have is baked chips packets like Lays everywhere. And oh, the CEO and his PA, they are always loud in their conversation, never minding the people around them. The upper manager spend most of their time on politics to bring down the other people within the same office. The voices or suggestions or requests of rookie are never answered, never considered, no matter how good or bad they are. Verdict: If you really want to put yourself in a place where will never be treated good, welcome to realtor.com.
