Pros
- A place to collect a check till the economy gets better - Decent benefits - Used to be a GREAT company to work for when I first started in 2006. - Lower six figures is still possible for sales unless you just don't get it.
Cons
- Lack of appreciation for employees. Senior management increases sales quotas and decreases compensation plan simultaneously and could happen up to 2 times annually. Company's overall revenue has increased every year and account executives' pay has substantially decreased every year. - HR is biased, protects the managers and is "never" neutral in decision making. - A lot of micro-managing. Sales professionals are treated like high school telemarketers. Managers breathe down your neck with threats. Not a place for true sales professionals. - Account Executives are forced to move certain products and not what is necessarily best for the customer. - Highly stressful. - High turnover. Company cannot retain true talent. Managers threaten to fire the entire sales floor and replace them with "new blood". - Limited room for growth. - Senior management does not lead by example. Managers are not polished. Unprofessional.
