Pros

Great vacation and benefits. Management has done a good job improving the environment of the company since I've been there. There are plenty of people that know and do their job well, but can sometimes result in a superiority complex.

Cons

Tough entry into the company. Lack of good on board training. Employee's can make the culture of the company seem lifeless at times.

Pros

Loved the team that I worked with. The benefits are amazing and the paid holidays are great. Loved that we got 2 weeks off for Christmas and New Years.

Cons

Because the headquarters are located in Germany, the office in the United States always seemed to get the new policies sent last or sometimes not even included in some of the the decisions.

Pros

The Benefits and PTO are two of the greatest things about Recaro. You receive 5 weeks worth of PTO and this company pays for your health insurance. This makes your work/life balance a lot easier to achieve. It also takes away the burden of having to calculate how much you REALLY make once you take out what you're paying for insurance. If you are very sickly or have a family, the benefits are a major win. I also like how lax and comfortable the environment is. There is very little micro- managing which is a huge plus. Last, but not least, I LOVE the company activities. The sports and picnics and overall comradery helps keep up morale at the workplace.

Cons

Each department has a silo mentality, almost as if they are a part of separate mini companies instead of one company. Our KPI's work in direct opposition to each other and people hardly want to compromise at the risk of jeopardizing their yearly cockpit goals. Because you have to work closely with various departments, this makes it very stressful and difficult to do minor tasks. Occasionally there is preferential treatment amongst colleagues depending on who the manager "likes" and there should be fair and just treatment amongst all.
