Horrible after Cerberus purchase

Pros

Red River was a great company to work for before Cerberus bought us in 2021.

Cons

The management and company initiatives that made Red River a great company to work for over many years were pushed out by the new owners. Ownerships focus is clearly only on profit and getting salaried employees to work 80 hour weeks. I miss the way it used to be

We appreciate your feedback and would like the opportunity to reply to some of the comments provided. While we respect your perspective, we want to point out that we have continued bring on great initiatives to the benefit of our team members including, a trust and will benefit, diversity and inclusion trainings, employee resource groups, and a sustainability employee group as well. Important programs such as our community service and anniversary awards program continue to focus on the values that drive Red River. Our teams work hard and the company is growing very quickly and hiring new team members on to keep pace with business need. This does result in the company changing from how it used to be in years past. However, we believe that this growth process is beneficial and not only creates new jobs, but more opportunities as well. We certainly value all of our team members, and are sorry to hear that does not match your perspective. We would encourage you to reach out to HR or your manager with your concerns regarding your workload, so that we can assist. If you have any further feedback, please reach out to HR as well.

Pros

Management is trying to take strides in the right direction

Cons

This company is not a company that utilizes its resources well. If you are good at what you do all the tasks will be put on you and you will feel like you are being punished for your good work. Also the unlimited PTO is just a scam don't fall for that trick.

Thank you for providing us with your perspective and feedback. We never want our team members to feel like they are overworked. We certainly appreciate all of our team members, and encourage anyone who feels that their workload is too heavy or unbalanced within their team, to communicate with their manager. If you are uncomfortable going to your manager, our HR team is here to assist as well. Our Unlimited PTO exists to create flexibility to take time off for any personal time needed without needing to accrue time off. We understand that it may differ from other PTO policies and are sorry to hear it does not meet your expectations. If you have any concerns about taking time off and not being able to, you can always reach out to our HR team and we’ll be happy to discuss, and if needed, help facilitate conversation. Thank you again for your feedback.

All Stick, No Carrot

Pros

They will hire you because they are always desperately needing people but the turnover rate is ridiculously high.

Cons

This place is a sweatshop with unrealistic standards.but they really do not value you at all. You will be held to standards before they are created or you were made aware as well. You will be punished for a sort of metric of the week mentality where they only know the stick and never the carrot.

All feedback is valuable to us, and we appreciate you sharing your perspective. We have brought your concerns to our HR team, and would welcome you to reach out and discuss with us further by emailing the HR team. We never want any of our team members to feel like they are held to unrealistic standards, and would like to talk through and manage issues that occur. We would also like to mention that our teams are always working to improve, and want to emphasize that all team members can always reach out to HR with any specific concerns or issues, as this will allow us to work together in solving it.
