Pros

Medical ins. lunch, vacation if you can get it. There is really nothing else a person can say positive about this new company.

Cons

You can have an impeccable record for over 15 years but if you are older than 40,This new Reddy Ice Corp. Holdings owned now by Centerbridge as of Jan. 2013 eliminates your job or puts you in a position that you do not qualify for only to terminate you.

Pros

Very few, my schedule was flexible which was about the only plus. Some very nice people at corporate, but everyone is concerned about lay-offs. No pay raises for over 3 years & a few genuinely unpleasant co-workers.

Cons

Lots of recent lay-offs, company got rid of some very talented people. Several of the current employees are just skating by until they get laid-off, too. A couple of them abuse Reddy Ice resources & employees. HR & management do absolutely nothing about harassment complaints.
