Good exercise work, keeps you going physically strong

Cons

Very poor management in the Rio Grande valley, no monthly safety meetings in about 2 years, no motivation, no appreciation, a lot of stealing because they manage the plant, no communication between employees and management, expired stickers on trucks.employers are scared to talk because their scared of losing their jobs.

I can't really think of any. The best thing I got out of the job was that I got to travel and earn hotel reward points.

Cons

Poor management from the top down. This company is run by executives that do not have any experience in the packaged ice business.

Pros

Before new management, it was a great, family oriented atmosphere where everyone cared about everyone else and we worked as a team.

Cons

Under new management, our family was split up and divided to speed up production and sales. The result of this nonexperienced management personel was long time veterans of reddy ice were either fired or quit and sales have declined 6.2 million dollars due to "people skills" that management had with customers. Since December 2011, the Monroe location has gone through 13 drivers over 1/2 dozen accounting clerks, 2 route supervisors, due to poor managment decisions.
