Pros

You don’t really have to know what you’re doing to get ahead here. Manage like - What, me worry? Also, if you have a nice smile and know how to please your insecure boss while suppressing your troglodyte peers, you will find nirvana here.

Cons

This place is run like a cult. Everyone is made to believe that they’re too stupid to make decisions. Therefore, every decision is deferred to the collective made up of people who don’t have the knowledge to make the decision or any responsibility in the decision. The collective is guided by overseers anointed by the grand leader for being the most thoroughly brainwashed or socially potent. HR is nothing more than an outreach branch for the cult, generating propaganda and group activities for us to all feel good about being lead by the gracious overseers and the grand leader. It is afterall, a great place to work.

Pros

It is a "simple job" for simple people. If you don't have a degree or you have one and you're not particularly talented this is perfect. There is a lot of freedom you have if you're not putting 100% into the job. Benefits are ok, PTO given is above average with a long Christmas break. They're making money, so your job is safe. Especially because they cut so many costs by underpaying you in virtually every department.

Cons

Management is very overbearing. They play favorites, overlook good work and don't give credit. PTO is denied even without high production times. If you somehow manage to accept an offer in a different department, they will do their best to abuse you and keep you there for as long as possible before your official transition date. Pay is low as well. They like to also hire entry level ENGINEERS for a job that basically only requires a HS degree. If this is you, and you get an offer, PLEASE do yourself a favor and DO NOT ACCEPT.

Pros

Good employee perks, benefits and time off when you’re able to take it.

Cons

No support when you are promoted. After initial on-boarding, training isn’t there. And when you talk to someone about transferring to another area because you are so unhappy and overwhelmed there isn’t anything for you to transfer to. And forget about re-applying after you leave (when there is something you’re more qualified for)...won’t ever happen. Every vacation I ever took I had to be able to login to computer or take calls because I HAD ZERO SUPPORT! Funny, after I left they realized how much help I needed and hired more people....like I had asked for but didn’t get.
