Pros

Great pay for little experience, good opportunity for growth, opportunity to work with the country's greatest minds in Biotech, a rapidly growing company

Cons

A lot of responsibility at entry level positions, long hours are required even though they say optional, high level of stress and very ambiguous goals to reach for, plant at capacity and there is no parking for employees on site, people are sitting at tables instead of proper desks due to "rapid growth"

Pros

Excellent Job Security. Great Pay for the educational requirement. Good benefits and Company Perks. Stock Performance is Stellar although stock option rewards are decreasing as stock becomes more valuable. Excellent culture and values for the company overall. Excellent Pipeline for future growth and success. The company overall strongly values the employees as well as the work they do. Company is actively working to reduce or eliminate the things listed in the "Cons" section as well as improve and expand overall benefits and compensation.

Cons

Many areas are currently in the process of heavy growth and restructuring which can be quite tough on someone looking for great work/life balance. Your work schedule may change significantly with little warning. The Promotion and Bonus system has historically been very opaque and frustrating. Its difficult to know why some people were promoted or what any given person should work on to become promoted or get a good performance review. Senior management is well vetted and high caliber. However lower and middle management was drawn from a small pool of candidates while the company was still small, and is extreme hit or miss.....less hit more miss. The workplace/office politics can quickly get quite ridiculous, mostly due to the previously listed con but also due to the low average age of the employees in this young, rapidly growing company. Stay focused on your goals in life, your job, the company, and the patients.

Pros

The company has grown rapidly and dramatically in a short time period. The outlook and potential of Regeneron is extremely great, however, nothing in the Biotech industry is guaranteed. Regular celebrations are held to boost employee morale. On sight gym. Stock options are often granted as part of yearly compensation package. Robust pipeline.

Cons

Mediocre salary and benefits. Located in an extremely high cost of living area. Relatively high turnover. Low ceiling to hit. Career advancement is slow to impossible after reaching a certain level. Bonuses are low compare to similar companies. 401K is matched in stock options. Work/life balance is highly variable between departments and managers. There is a potential for a catastrophic failure of the company or a take over by a bigger fish.
