Excellent starting salary, wide range of benefits, flexible hours

Cons

Excessively high productivity standards negatively affect ability to provide appropriate care to patient due to difficulty of effectively using time to consult with other SNF staff; Poor 401k and HSA match contributions; limited locations for new hires - urban settings are virtually off limits until more experience is acquired

Pros

Therapists are skilled and kind. Program Director is understanding and flexible. Varied patient caseload.

Cons

No raises EVER. Employees have not gotten a raise in over ten years. Not even cost of living. Extremely stressful environment due to productivity requirement. No Tech help. These two things can and do cause accidents and injuries, but situation does not change. CEOs get big raises, bonuses, but workers get nothing. All correspondence is sent electronically, which we are not given work time to read, but are expected to abide by and implement. Big burn-out factor affects employee satisfaction. I love what I do, but hate the company I work for. No 401k match. Expensive Health insurance. Dental Basically cover cleanings and even that has a co pay.
