Pros

None that I can think of.

Cons

Not paid for working overtime. Not working overtime is also problematic. No bonuses. Not a good 401(k), match is weak. You cannot really work from home; more like, work after work, at home. Higher education is frowned upon, because you will not be focusing all of your efforts on work. High turnover. Employees are miserable and will try to bring you down with them. On too many occasions, a good morning was greeted with no response.

Thank you for taking time to leave a review. There seem to be several areas of dissatisfaction for you during your employment with Rehmann and that never feels great to hear. We're hopeful that you shared feedback with your supervisor, other firm leaders or HR regarding your concerns. We are not able to continuously improve without feedback from our talented associates. If you were not able to share with them directly, we are hopeful that you shared your input through our firm's feedback processes (upward evaluations, grow plan meetings, associate surveys, etc.) As with most professional level roles, overtime pay is not required , as these are exempt positions. Each associate submits an hour budget each year and are mutually established by the associate and their supervisor. We're hopeful that you shared concerns, if you had them, with your supervisor at that time. In terms of benefits, our team is constantly bench-marking with peers in our industry and have found our benefit program to be quite competitive. In addition, we have introduced enhanced benefits each year to make our program even stronger. This would include our tuition reimbursement program and all full-time associates are eligible for. We believe that by keeping our skills and knowledge fresh , we are better for our clients, our firm and ourselves. Although we have an incredibly flexible work environment and have the ability to work from anywhere, we recognize that this can be limited for associates in some roles. There are definitely positions that require more face time with clients and other team-mates in order to be successful. Again, we are hopeful that if you had requests to work from home or to modify your work schedule that you had dialog with your supervisor. Through our associate survey tool, we have learned that the majority of Rehmann associates are highly satisfied and our turnover is actually lower than most in our industry. We know that our firm may not be a fit for everyone though, so we wish you tons of success in your new position.

Pros

Great opportunities for advancement and a wide variety of specializations available. Lots of structure in terms of career path for younger workers.

Cons

Support staff is giving too much power and control over how things are done. Also, if you're older, and don't come in as a principal, it's not going to happen, as the principal/owner track is designed for those in their thirties to early forties. In fact, once you hit 65, you're required to give up your ownership.

Thank you for leaving a review. As a firm we have worked diligently to craft meaningful career paths. We're thankful that you've recognized it here! We have actually successfully promoted associates of all ages & with varying years of experience with the Firm. It truly is based on successful work in key competency areas. Although we've published those competencies & our promotion processes internally, we know that they can be missed. We would encourage you to partner with HR and your supervisors to have further discussions if a Principal/Owner track is of interest to you! We're here to help!

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are proud of the firm's commitment to associate development. We recognize that this training does take time away from other important aspects of your role, but we strive to strike the proper balance between them. We appreciate your feedback and would welcome you to share it with your supervisor and/or HR!
