It is a good place to start your career and there is a lot of mentorship.

Cons

Can feel a little unstable at time with layoffs. Not a lot of face time with partners or reassurance. Salary is not great compared to other firms. They took away bonuses too.

- Learned a lot about Paid search, Paid Social, and Programmatic Advertising. - Gained skills I didn't have before joining. - Remote friendly. - Great people work here. - Provides a lot of career growth. - Pretty good benefits package. - No micromanagement.

Cons

- Expectations for role was very unclear. - HR was not transparent at all, and seemed sort of secretive. - Sometimes worked long hours, but that's expected at an agency. - No overtime pay. So you'll need to have great time management skills. - No bonuses for junior leveled employees.

Pros

Good pay; coworkers are all great people, have never dealt with any jerks or sketchy office politics; government clients like U.S. Census Bureau and the VA offer opportunities to make real impact.

Cons

Consultants/project managers not always super knowledgeable about how "the work" (graphic design, UI/UX, digital marketing, etc) is done, causing bottlenecks in execution; hours-tracking is required, which is incompatible with self-starter attitude that is encouraged; processes as a whole could be streamlined/automated (an issue throughout my tenure); the draw is the "mission"-based clients, but non-government clients don't move the needle or are antithetical to that mantra.
