      growing very fast - "who's on first?"

      Pros

      Growing company. Top notch software used by staff/employees. The products -software platform - is excellent.

      Cons

      Moving so fast, and poor communication to the various levels and departments. Upper management is very experienced, and intelligent, but all the new hires to grow the company fast, are inexperienced, they have no skills sets to bring to table, which makes it hard to get things done as quickly as needed. This company would benefit by having a COO, since PE buys all different companies, and merges them, thus the atmosphere is a bit chaotic. I saw many disgruntle customers after the merger, due to the focus is on fast growth, and not taking care of who built the businesses.

      Pros

      The people are amazing and bright and skilled at their positions. Employees are committed to the work and want it to be good! Collaboration is encouraged to make the product better.

      Cons

      Productivity goals outweigh the inventive ideas and tasks of making courses better. Foundation for this "new" company was not set before management decided to move forward with lofty goals and deadlines. Collaboration is not always possible due to time demands and unrealistic goals for a company just coming together to set their standards and work flow processes.

      Pros

      New office, bright, exciting coworkers, young. Some of the main executives are genuinely passionate.

      Cons

      The company is owned by vista so, regardless of what exciting things the leadership wants, they're stuck within the vista guidelines. We're growing so fast with so many young people that it can be chaotic and frustrating.
