Pros

You get paid but at what cost...

Cons

1. Sales leadership make working here very difficult, moving SDRs around teams and regions with no regard or care for the SDRs themselves. 2. Mass hire and fire culture - long and sustainable tenures are not considered important. Long probations and fixed-term contract hires are also very common. 3. Culture of fear: employees closely observed at work events "to check who we still want in the company and who doesn't belong here". 4. Work from anywhere has been reduced to: work from anywhere for max. 90 days per year, provided that you've been at Remote for at least 6 months and IF your manager approves.

Pros

There's nothing positive about this company at all

Cons

If the devil were a corporate entity, he'd be Remote.com. This company cynically exploits extended probation periods to hire and fire employees on a whim, shamelessly bypassing redundancy laws. They leave you with no notice period to survive on, and in the week leading up to Christmas, they carried out a ruthless round of firings, offering nothing but a week’s pay while threatening to claw back any commissions earned. At the interview stage, they lure you in with promises of a perfect work environment, but don't be fooled—these people are utterly soulless, driven only by profit and a complete disregard for human decency.

Pros

The 5stars reviews are just fake, they’re meant to maintain our GD rating. Look at reviews with a lot of thumbs up. They are the real ones. The only silver lining is not having to commute since it's a remote job. However, the lack of worklife balance and constant strain on mental health make even this perk seem insignificant. Unlimited PTO looks nice on paper, way less when a huge amount of work awaits on your first day back.

Cons

I've never witnessed such poor leadership in my career. We're in dire straits. The CEO is conspicuously absent while our ship is sinking. Competitors are outpacing us, targeting our customer base, and undercutting us on pricing on every new deal. We're forced to follow suit, constantly dropping our prices to compete. Our solutions lag behind competition, our support is subpar, payroll is riddled with errors from day 1. Morale among Remote employees is abysmal, with many staying only because of fear of layoffs elsewhere or fear of not finding a job. Top leadership is toxic, evidenced by the rapid departure of key executives in sales (CRO, VP Sales AMER and VP Growth in less than 3 weeks) The co-founder, now overseeing sales as an interim despite his lack of experience, is driving morale even lower with ill-conceived changes and a disdain for the sales team. He admitted on a global call his fear of ruining sales; dude you are actually doing it. We're desperately hoping for a seasoned CRO to be brought in to save us from this downward spiral and egomaniac leader who uses his power position to oppress others by being condescending and creating a toxic environment. Barbara and Ravi, if you're reading this, do something about it and stop nodding Sales quotas are arbitrarily changed every quarter, always with massive increases, placing immense pressure on reps without recognition or fair compensation. There is no logic behind the setting of targets which raises questions about transparency. And because targets are unrealistic reps struggle to come close to quota. They then get poor performance reviews and no increase of salary. Some of us never got an increase since joining the company in 2021. This nearly amounts to systemic bullying.
