Pros

Can have breaks between clients sometimes.

Cons

Removery is sneaky and only worried about making another dollar. The schedule you work will burn you out as you will work Tuesday-Saturday every week. Only 2 people per studio so you can never be sick because clients will get upset. If you are a NP or PA they treat you like garbage. You will be spoken down to very often and if you speak up, they get very defensive. Pay is unfair. They will hire new people at a higher rate than you. Your boss lives in a different state and never sees you but once a year. Your studio will be expected to make 10,000 a week for you to make 2.5% (which is about $100 extra). There are no clear roles between sales and LS. If you lasering, most of the time you will have to do all the scheduling in addition to charting, treating, cleaning the studio and laser maintenance.

Pros

Each location is pretty much on its on. For the most part there is not a manager always over your shoulder.

Cons

The bonus structure is awful, they will lose great people that way. There is not incentive to go hard.

Thanks so much for the time you took to leave this review of your experience with Removery. Our most successful team members are those that thrive under autonomous work environments because as you've pointed out, we do not have direct managers looking over shoulders. Thank you for your feedback about our bonus structure. We're always looking for ways to competitively incentivize our team members. If you'd like to discuss this more, we'd be all ears! Feel free to reach out to peopleteam@removery.com to set up some time to share more.

Pros

You don’t have to worry about what you will wear to work every day.

Cons

Removery has monopolized tattoo removal and is only focused on expanding so they can sell the company for more than it's worth. With selling the company being their main focus they continue to increase their service costs and dramatically decreased employees pay. Laser techs have anywhere from 4-7 “managers” giving them additional work on top of the large work load that needs to be completed daily. Burn out/turn over happens quickly and no upper management seems to care enough to change things. Removery talks about mental health awareness and being a “family” but in reality the actual hard workers keeping the company going are treated very poorly and not appreciate.
