Pros

A decent reason to work here would be working alone but there are more downsides to that than positives.

Cons

Constantly changing pay structure, deceiving bonus structure, management is remote- hard to get in touch with, only 2 people working in each studio which is very unsafe, makes scheduling pto impossoble/if something were to come up no one is there to cover for you. Upper management and change team is very condescending. Any suggestion or complaint is referred to as a knee jerk response and then you are put in classes to “accept change” and to work on emotional intelligence. More like classes to further manipulate you. Under trained laser specialists. Fully in charge of running the studio trash, cleaning windows, money handling, open and close, clients , treatments EVERYTHING just open your own small business. Contact center fills your schedule with little to no communication.

Pros

There are no pros to working here

Cons

Every single negative review posted on here is 100% accurate. Do not assume that people are over exaggerating because they had a negative experience. These negative reviews depict exactly how this company is being run and how existing and former employees feel/felt. All studio level employees are extremely unhappy. Technicians have unbelievably high expectations placed upon them, an absurd amount of work to do with too little time to do it, no opportunity to take PTO if you're in a busy location since the schedule is booked so far out, schedules are packed back to back daily with treatments, protocols constantly changing to add more work onto the technicians, an unbelievable amount of micromanaging, constant calls that could easily be emails, monthly tests, clinical scores that are near impossible to get a perfect score on followed by a call to tell you that you're doing something wrong, no recognition whatsoever, the list goes on and on. A few months ago they "restructured" our pay. They increased hourly pay for most and changed the bonus plan on commission so it it capped monthly rather than uncapped weekly. Some employees are losing very little money due to this, but most employees have taken a huge pay cut. Some people have lost $20,000-50,000 per year due to this. They tried to present it as a positive thing by saying that increasing hourly pay would account for increase in cost of living based on the employees studio location, but in reality we're losing an absurd amount of money. It's ridiculous how poorly people are treated here and how little the company cares. They're just trying to open as many locations as possible so they can sell the company for far more than it's worth.

Pros

Can make good money, but ONLY if you are in a good location sales wise.

Cons

almost everything. most micromanaged I have EVER felt in a job, and that is with your manager not even being in your location. I personally was in a sales position, when interviewing you they boast about how much you have the potential to make but the numbers they give you are based off their top preforming locations. if you aren’t in a big city/high traffic location good luck ever hitting bonus, not to mention the CONSTANT stress they put on sales consultants if you aren’t hitting goals. If you aren’t preforming to their goals (which, again, is impossible in a slower location) you will have weekly meetings with your regional manager where pretend they want to help you but realistically are just hounding you about your KPIs not being good enough. You have to have a certain “start rate” of at least 65% of all consults or your regional manager will be down your throat. dead locations also get very few consults booked, even fewer show up, but if you mention anything about them doing more local advertising or on social media they will turn it around on YOU to do more “outreach” which is basically just cold calling & dropping by other business to leave marketing materials and asking them to refer clients (have to do that at least 10 places a week!). They act like they are a “family company” that cares about their employees but all they care about is $$$, raise prices frequently “due to inflation” which obviously frustrates clients but never raise your pay! Sneaky company pretending like they have good morals, values etc but really could care less about their employees, that’s why their turnover rate is so high. When I left I had over $450 in bonus earned from weeks prior that was never paid which is literally against the law but they don’t care even after going back and forth with them. They ask employees to leave good reviews often to cover all the bad ones. You have been warned .
