If you love cliques, then this is the place for you! Senior leadership doesn’t listen to the field team, they implement change without thinking things all the way through, they let go of really good team members and keep really bad ones because they’re part of the clique. Recently, we got a new RD in the western division who was only promoted because she is best friends with the new VP of operations. HR says they “seek to understand” but they just to conclusions and nothing will sway them.

Pros

Most of the ground level employees I met and interacted with were great people. Free laser removal. Nice studios. A few members of senior management are rock solid, supportive, and wonderful mentors.

Cons

Team members in the field struggle to receive the support they need, “changes” to compensation packages, while increasing prices. Lots of talk about unity and family, little follow through. The company as a whole felt kind of like high school. Very cliquey and popular kids get preferential treatment. Compensation does not match up with job demands.
