Pros

They cut ours hours back to 40 and upped our pay rate to compensate. We had to sign something saying that it was just a trial and that it may go back. It was a nice change, but I heard they tried to switch it back after I left.

Cons

physical demands of the job. It can be stressful to try to make the standard. They hire in people above you that are not very good. Then after the rent-way merger there was this Manager-in-Training program. Where there are guys that are basically hired in as store managers. There goes your chances of getting your own store.

Pros

Money, if you have the drive you can make money.

Cons

You always feel like your job is in jeopardy. Not a good feeling to have on a weekly Basis. I was there 9 years and won numerous awards and turned around stores to make allot of profit for the company and was treated as if everything I had done meant nothing.
