Poor work culture - old fashioned.

Pros

It's great having 7.5 hour work days.

Cons

Terrible medical plan (high deductible); no work culture at all (not allowed to have department get-togethers, lunches, potlucks); old-fashioned and conservative - but then again the insurance industry is old-fashioned and conservative in general. Management will make you feel guilty about taking PTO even if it is for a doctor appointment.
