Pros

-amazing teammates although Price's law does apply. Half of the team is pushing most of the work and the other half is doing the square root of that work. -flexibility to work from your room -high volume transactional closes -Pretty nice company culture and morale here as the technology used here is fairly new and slack is very easy to maneuver

Cons

-poor leadership structure with "sales leads" as if they are your supervisor when in reality they do customer success work Q & A for you and literally tell you to assist agents with what is supposedly their job. The direct reports are actually the directors and they seldom will be in your atmosphere. -NOT a true Sales role, 50/50 or 75/25 at best to sales and customer success respectively. You are a part of customer success NOT sales, you just happen to make transactions from time to time and have very little opportunity to create outbound closes when swamped during heavy CS times. -Lots of false promises/hopes given out like girl scout cookies about how the sales organization structure will change for the better by removing the cs aspect of the role out of the picture by adding in phone transfers. -Sales targets with no transparency/team brief on forecasts for upcoming quarters or historical based forecasting presented to you so you understand when the busy vs. slow quarters are. Pretty obvious but your projections will not take into account what type of period/quarter you are in. -401k program is like rocket science to figure out, pretty sure it doesn't exist for you and there are specific time slots where you have to get a hold of HR to get into. -they will give you any hours they feel worthy, lack of a consistent schedule. Highly avoid if you have any dietary issues such as diabetes or need to properly monitor other aspects of your health. A commercial truck driver has more consistency in scheduling over this role.
