Pros

They are open to my desire for flexibility. They build good relationships with their consultants and their clients. I am compensated appropriately.

Cons

Have a small pool of clients in Cincinnati. They need to expand that pool to have more opportunities for their consultants.

Pros

I built great relationships with my coworkers - account managers, customer care consultants, and recruiters. It is certainly a very fun environment. While there isn't a great training program, you do get one-on-ones with your manager monthly that are helpful. There is the opportunity to make a good living if you do well.

Cons

They don't really have a training program for new hires. Unless you are already tech savvy, you will have to "fake it til you make it" (a term used often around the office). The biggest problem for me was that I felt like a liar. They promise the consultants "bench time" if they come off a contract, but in reality most barely get a week and are cut unexpectedly. Really high turnover for internal employees as well.

Everyone is miserable (and verbalizes it)

Pros

Many interesting and capable people have been sucked into working here. Smart people are hired.

Cons

The company is run by salespeople. They are convincing and will over-promise and under-deliver. BEWARE promises of high commission. If you are looking to join this company, be skeptical and ask ALL the questions. Smart employees quit quickly; turnover far exceeds the industry average. The motto is very much "we're a family!" in the most ingenuine and toxic way. Management is out of touch and deeply unprofessional. My direct manager would ask for office gossip or (negative) intel on my coworkers. Upper management also crossed professional boundaries which made me very uncomfortable. There is a fair amount of drinking encouraged after hours. Everyone who I was friendly with spent their days complaining and wanting to leave. Despite all the above, the primary complaint is PAY. Pay is well below industry-average.

Resolvit Response

We appreciate you taking time to express your disappointment with your time with and expectations for our company here on GlassDoor. We take feedback like this very seriously and will be sharing and discussing it at length in the upcoming managers’ meeting. We also appreciate you highlighting that we have many smart, interesting, talented, and capable people here at Resolvit. They are doing great things across the country and around the globe fostering positive change and growth. We take pride in our thorough interview process which insures that is the case with everyone working here at Resolvit. In the interview process and before hiring anyone, we share the compensation plans and structure, including the commission potential. In the offer letter and employment agreement, which are signed before someone starts, all of the details are spelled out. The management and accounting teams are available and willing to answer any questions and provide additional clarity. With the Covid situation creating more remote work and less time together, and the team enjoying each other because they are “smart and interesting”, when they do come to the office, sometimes everyone goes out after work together. There has also been pop up virtual happy hours, for the same reason. When the team goes out after hours they make sure the places they go have “mocktails” for the people that choose not to drink alcohol. As for managers asking how you are doing? How's it going with the team? How are your teammates? What do you see that I’m missing? What can you/we do different? These are valuable questions. Good leaders know what they see and hear, but a team members perspective is always helpful and invaluable for improving. We are happy that you landed with a company that you feel compensates you more appropriately. And wish you lots of luck and success.
