Pros

Interesting product market fit. The company has a clear path toward unicorn status as they complete these funding rounds. Mangement uses OKRs to reach their growth targets. Might be an interesting startup to be a part of, but not as an SDR.

Cons

Quota appears reachable, but there is very high criteria for your meeting to be qualified. Also, your meeting will be secondary priority since the Account Executives are also busy setting their own meetings. If you start as an SDR, you're unlikely to be promoted to Account Executive. They hire folks who are familiar with this type of product. The market is not as greenfield since previous SDRs have already sprayed emails. SDR Manager(s) are uninspiring and actually de-motivating.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback—we’re sorry you didn’t have the best experience with us. We’ve built a lot in the last several months and have seen a number of team members enter new roles, both within and outside of Sales, so hopefully new team members won’t experience any limitation about where to move after they’ve tackled the SDR role. If there’s any other feedback you’d like to share with us please let us know at interview-feedback@retool.com.
