Pros

-Very nice area -Very nice people -Snacks were supplied when I was struggling, and I am still struggling due to this very capricious at-will termination. -I was the subordinate to a polite, friendly cohort of people who were right with me feeling frustrated that things were not ready for me.

Cons

I am submitting this statement to document my experience and concerns regarding my recent termination. Lack of Prepared Role: My official start date was delayed by one week. Upon starting, I had no assigned work for approximately a week and a half. Lack of Communication: I was told I would be informed if there were performance issues. No such communication occurred prior to termination. Termination Reason Provided: I was told the company was “not ready to train me.” My supervisor later stated that C-level executives saw me seated at the lunch table “too much.” The lunch area is directly across from my supervisor’s office; any concerns could have been addressed immediately. Contradictory Peer Feedback: My peers expressed that I was performing well and did not indicate any concerns with my conduct. Timing of Training: I was given job training the day before my termination.
