Hi there! Thanks for your comment. We are still a very young business that has grown very quickly to meet the needs of our customers. We’re constantly looking to ensure that we support the people who enable us to create great products and support our customers. Only in 2022 we changed and implemented a lot of our internal processes: bonuses, promotions, HR, days off & holiday, L&D and many more. All to make sure our people are happy and satisfied while working at Revolut. We wish you well.

Most toxic people I've worked with

Pros

Dedicated dev ops teams and very good infrastructure support and tools.

Cons

Worst onboarding possible. Zero training and no documentation or explanations on what your job implies. You have to reverse engineer everything, and beg people for time to explain to you what you are supposed to do at your job. Most toxic people I have seen in a work environment, endorsed by a "get **it done" culture. Zero leadership and zero people skills of senior enginnering. It doesn't matter if you treat others like crap if you are in a higher position than them. You can yell at them, bully them, demean and belittle the work they do, as long as you work day and night, have zero life outside the office, and get **it done.

Warning: toxic environment and sick political games

Pros

Nice benefits and cool merchandise (hurray!)

Cons

Inhumane leadership Lack of care for employees' well-being (although they proud themselves of it, which in practice is a joke) Unprofessional behaviour disfavouring some due to personal reasons rather than their actual work performance Toxic culture and no work/life balance Micromanagement and unachievable expectations with little to no training Dishonesty is a given - they will promise the world verbally, then will not honour anything and claim those promises weren't made Complete disregard for employees' career goals, moving them around as it's most convenient to them, even if it means deviating completely from your career path Leaders manipulate and disrespect employees below them, while using them to look good to their superiors, who are hence obviously led to think anything is the team's fault, rather than poor people management Career progression? Maybe, if you work 14+ hours/day, give up on anything unrelated to work, dedicate 200% of yourself to achieving KPIs that are not set properly, and pray that they don't find any technicality not to give you a promotion (which I've seen happening numerous times), and it's still a huge MAYBE The list could go on...
