Pros

Smart working, smart colleagues, fintech knowledge

Cons

Although you are hired as an Account Executive, you end up spending your entire day performing basic BDR tasks, making dozens of phone calls like a standard call centre while attempting to meet unrealistic KPIs and targets that compel you to produce equally unrealistic work. Additionally, please note that the commission scheme is structured in such a way that achieving it consistently quarter after quarter is very challenging. Also, although most colleagues are highly professional, there are a few individuals who exploit system’s glitches to their own advantage, putting those who work following the rules at a disadvantage. Revolut is literally playing with people’s life. I would not recommend joining this company to anyone

Pros

- very dynamic company - large scale - nice solutions to learn about - the are very talented engineers to learn from if you lucky to get a good team mates or good functional manager

Cons

- high pressure on delivering fast („no, don’t do overhours but you don’t deliver fast enough” 🤣) - unfair evaluation - I know people working very hard, doing overhours and still getting low grades - many in house solutions that’s are nice to learn about but on the other hand they are not useful if you want to change a job (like ui framework). They also might be stopping devs from growing (because of UI framework you can’t use SwiftUI) - in theory the role of functional manager sounds good but in practice most of them are not doing a good job in terms of motivation and helping to grow - I don’t think it’s a good company if you have babies. On one hand of course everyone says is supportive etc, on the other hand they still expects you to deliver so if you don’t you get low grade or even get fired

Pros

Nothing except remote work. There is no possibility to grow. Only UK people get promoted every month.

Cons

Every aspect of con there They expect people to work like a robot without a single error. They will manipulate KPI in the background and show you exit door. There is no value for hard work only people with show off mindset can progress.
