Pros

Met some fun people while working at RN. It seems for the most ambitious people it is a stepping stone for "the next big job". If you have a great big career ahead of you this is one quick stop on the way

Cons

Mid-july 30+ people were laid off. GONE. severance package was laughable. morale quickly plummeted for those who were left. No one is loyal to this loyalty company anymore. The CEO "retired". I'm sure he was pushed out. SVP of sales got a better deal. senior managers have been quitting every month in 2013. Two more SVPs were let go during the layoffs. low level managers are now reporting the chaiman of the board in some departments. I cannot imagine a worse place to work than RN right now. The board who bought RN two years ago thought they could double the value nearly overnight. 2 years later the company is still stagnant, so instead of putting the burden on the sales team, they let go 30 innocent corporate employees. Maybe when they see the value double they'll be more interested in retaining valuable workforce.

Pros

There are still some very talented salespeople at Rewards that have been with the company several years and they have built solid books of business that pay them very well. That is the only reason they stay.

Cons

This company has been in steady decline for the past 3 years. No leadership, revolving door of poor senior management, lack of direction, high turnover along with horrible morale, zero new product development, poor member engagement, weak partner relationships, outdated marketing and frequent undelivered promises to the employees of "better things ahead!" describe RN for the past several years. If anyone really believes that current ownership is going to raise this "ship" they need a serious history lesson. Announcing that changes are on the way is not the same as positive change actually occurring.
