The Downward Spiral of This Once Proud Company is a Shame

Pros

Working in the restaurant industry

Cons

Outdated product that has failed to keep up with many of the new products and ideas available to restaurants. Member engagement has fallen off over the past couple of years, which in turn makes this a tough sale. The decline at RN started with it going private and the changes that were made within the sales force. The decision to part with the then current SVP's was poorly planned and poorly executed. Then to bring in Heidi M. was a major mistake that is still felt within the sales force.

Pros

A very talented and extremely bright group of employees. Committed, passionate, a rare culture where best practices were openly shared across regions and territories for the benefit of all. In addition, by being solely focused on the restaurant community, the company was infused with the same sense of energy and excitement.

Cons

Senior Management began to lead according to bonus objective as defined by EBITDA performance. Change was often times hastily conceived and poorly executed. In the final analysis, they were a member based restaurant marketing company that could never market themselves.

You are absolutely disposable.

Pros

There are a ton of great people that work for this company. Benefits are okay. Lots of flexibility. Family oriented company.

Cons

The company is not changing with the times, and is becoming more and more uncompetitive. Upper managment was completely ruined with the addition of one employee. Everything the company stood for went out the door. They have become completely cut throat, regardless of your history with the company. So many unethical things occur in this company it's unsettling.
