      Pros

      Prior to 2015 Rex Healthcare and its affiliates had an amazing work culture. Benefits are still decent. Job security is good Majority of employees are very good at what they do.

      Cons

      In 2015 Rex seems to be quickly dissolving into UNC Healthcare and losing its culture. Carolina Value in association with Huron Consulting group has greatly decreased overall morale Employees who leave do not have their positions reposted and the workload is given to remaining employees. Virtually no growth opportunity.

      Pros

      Pay and medical benefits good. Not worth all the drama though.

      Cons

      Poor upper management. Work environment revolves around cliques, favoritism and gossip. I loved the job, I hated the environment I worked in. Some fantastic people. Also, some very underhanded, gossipy and shallow people, at least in the ER where I worked.
