Cons

On point with previous reviews. The biggest hindrance to sales is marketing. The idea of market disruption is good in theory, not practice. I don’t know if any other company that tries to build a brand by constantly changing the message and strategy of that brand. It’s only creating disruption to retailers and employees. And there is no one in upper management who has been a TM in today’s environment causing a huge wedge between the generals and the foot soldiers. People are leaving in droves doing nothing but increasing the workload for those of us who have decided to stay with the hope that home office will start to listen and adjust. It comes down to respect, and at this point, no one in the field respects anyone in the building. There are no leaders in the field. Mid level managers have no backbone to push back and be a voice for the ones doing the work. Everyone is terrified to say “no”. You disagree, you’ll be the next TMC. This company lacks real leaders and it’s a shame. Wasn’t always this way.

Pros? Company car and even that isn’t worth it because of all the crap they put you through.

Cons

Management is cold. BAT is even colder. As an employee I do not feel valued or appreciated. And trust me, I’ve made a lot of money for BAT over the years. Oh and BTW, upper management is PAYING employees to leave good reviews. So this “2.7” is BS. They want you to do a lot of work and then they let you go once they are in a good spot. It’s a *crappy* company. Extremely toxic culture.

Pros

Company car, 401 K, Medical/Dental and reminders of this organization investing in their people. Certification along with employee reviews is in the rear view as we speed toward Propel 2.0.

Cons

Ineffectual leadership with no clear strategy other than pumping products out to retail and profits into executive leaderships hands. It might break the bank of employee moral and the Reynolds name with our customers but it doesn’t matter as long as you hit 8.2 calls per day and we inch toward that #1 spot. Long story short…this organization will not value your contributions (how could they when the next plus out/product drops next week?). The balance sheet is still a little heavy so my advice is to ask yourself if that is the type of culture you would like to invest in.
