      Pros

      Several opportunities for entry level personnel willing to trade possible higher salary for experience or location. Several internal training opportunities. Experienced outside sales personnel seem to do really well as far as salary is concerned. Several extracurricular company events, such as sports leagues, golf tournaments, parties, etc. Great first job for a person right out of college. One of the few companies left a person can probably work for their entire career. There are certain types of personalities that do really well in this corporate culture.

      Cons

      Low pay. Web access blocked and routinely monitored, random drug tests. Corporate culture is often compared to IBM circa 1970s-80s, 1984 Big Brother References, "Does this benefit the company?" People seem to be unhappy/apathetic about their role/job/career.

      Good right out of college; unstable in the long term

      Pros

      Best as a job right out of college. Pay is low but experience is critical, especially in the current job market. As such, I believe that ReyRey is a good deal if one didn't make too many plans for after graduation. However, it seems as if senior people are being laid off frequently, and car dealerships right now are getting absolutely hammered. As such, the long term prognosis for ReyRey is really hard to gauge, and if the Big 3 go under then it might be a very difficult couple of years. Therefore, the experience is useful, and ReyRey is best only as a short term option.

      Cons

      As mentioned already, the compensation is fairly low. This is completely fine for right after college, but I might suggest looking at other companies if you plan to have children or have high student loans to pay off. The wages are simply too low to maintain a reasonable standard of living, particularly at entry level, although the low cost of living in Texas helps offset this somewhat. Management seems a bit confused; directives do not necessarily make sense, nor are they explained coherently. Job responsibilities can be very vague or incomplete, which is a bit frustrating-- the lack of direction makes working at ReyRey harder than should be the case.
