Pros

There are some really good people who work at Rho and work hard. That’s it, I got nothing else nice to say.

Cons

The company laid off 10% of the company unexpectedly. Fortunately, I was not part of the lay-offs, but having a job here proves to be even more challenging. Everyone had to pick up the slack of others who were clearly unqualified to do their job. Everyone in the company is drowning with work! The is a game of favoritism definitely exists. You better not say nothing about their golden children or else. You are recognized with Rho dollars that amount to nothing after you work extremely hard to support the company. Expect to be lied to by management. Morale is down because people in management don’t know how to do their jobs and it affects everyone. So many people have left this company following the mass firing and more good people are going to follow.

Pros

Um….. I don’t have a lot of positive things to say. I did meet a few kind people there. I just pray they get out soon!

Cons

Too many negatives to mention. Laid off 10% of work force. Completely blindsided. There was no offer for us to be transferred to open positions. They literally just said:”as soon as this call is over, log off your computer and you are done. Thank you for your service.” Line manager was beyond incompetent. He informed me that my graduating from an Ivy League college was an excellent example of “white privilege.” This was from a white guy who took 8 years to get a bachelor’s degree. (I received 2 degrees in 4 years). The general incompetence is astounding and I honestly can’t imagine them being in business within the next 2-3 years.

Pros

I met some pretty nice people. The ones in the trenches doing the work are pretty cool. Pay is okay.

Cons

Oh My goodness. Where to start. blind-sided 10% of workforce by laying people off. Then in the follow up email from HR, they had in their signature something to the effect of, "come join us! we're hiring!" And they have jobs posted in various job site portals. Jobs that we were never provided the option to take. Let's see...Management? Incompetent. Condescending. I was told by my LM when I told him I graduated from an Ivy League school, it was just an example of "white privilege". I had an incident occur with a colleague so I reached out to my LM for support. His response was that I was being "passive/aggressive". Ummm... what? I planned to leave after being there a year. but I decided to give it 18 months. So the light at the end of this tunnel was being laid off at 18 months.
