      Good for experience with research

      Pros

      2 weeks paid vacation, basic health benefits, employer contribution to retirement account is really good, access to seminars and events at Rice and the Medical Center, flexible hours

      Cons

      parking is expensive and not close to your building and parking lots flood during heavy storms, not a lot of great food options available on campus

      Pros

      Rich sources of study, many guys to discuss and a very friendly environment. All kinds of shared equipment make nano fabrication much easier. And the campus is very pretty too.

      Cons

      If Rice is as strong as Harvard, MIT, Stanford or any other most active university in scientific research, I will love it better.
