Pros

The residents. Taking care of them.

Cons

Ridge Care has horrible management; shows favoritism, lies to employees and covers up misconduct. The CEO (Jeff Dickerson) doesn't value employees and how hard they work to keep everything together. Do not expect to move up within the company unless you know someone. DON'T PUT YOUR FAMILY HERE.

Pros

Long term relationship with residents and family members.

Cons

Management SUKCS! Jeff Dickerson only cares about money. The staff is grossly underpaid therefore, do not care about their jobs. If you are not part of the "click", you're on your own. I feel bad for every family that is associated with one of these communities. Very happy I am no longer employed there. Pay attention to the real reviews and proceed with caution.

Pros

I enjoy the work, I enjoy preparing food and feeding people.

Cons

Their proposed schedule is usually not being followed because we always have to work overtime and work on weekends. Strict monitoring of food is ok, but sometimes it's way overboard like they're thinking you're gonna ruin the food or poison it or something.
