Pros

Some great people work here who do their best to make upper level management's blatant negligence seem like it's only temporary.

Cons

RigUp for a while on the surface seemed like a great, fast-rising company. Once you peel back the onion just a little it is clear that there is zero direction or little chance of pulling out of this nose-dive. Executive leadership make emotionally driven decisions, based on little data (because there is no data) including terminating employees with no cause. If you have worked anywhere with just an ounce of professionalism and executive direction, RigUp will be a shock to your system.

Pros

Food, snacks, drinks, and other benefits

Cons

They hire good talent, but they expect you to agree with everything they say. When you disagree or try to use the talent they hired you for, game over. They are very reckless with their decisions. Rapid hiring that I am sure will turn into rapid layoffs. Top talent does not last long here. I'm sure there will be big changes soon because the investors will realize the lack of experience in the C-level and managers here. They confuse time with the company as experience. People here are put in charge of large projects simply because they have been loyal to the company.

Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. There is no doubt that we've gone through a massive hiring spurt -- that type of growth is both exciting and poses challenges at the same time. These challenges are something we are aware of and actively addressing. As we continue to evolve as a company, bringing senior leadership into the organization is going to be critical in our success in order to scale and move upmarket. Additionally, I would encourage that you chat with the Talent/People team to address any concerns. Thank you again for taking the time!

Pros

Nice building and Nice views.

Cons

Business outlook is terrible They are laying off like crazy Perks\Benefits are taking a dive as well They were "laying off" and firing at a rapid pace before the pandemic even after a massive round of funding. The leadership are arrogant, selfish, inexperienced, and\or uncaring. If you want to work for a company that doesn't care about its employees, expects blind loyalty and expectations of working 50 hours a week and fearful of losing your job, this is the place for you.
