Pros

Company is on a great growth trajectory despite headwinds in O&G. Leadership is honest, transparent, and fair; I've been around a few organizations (big tech) and this is a fantastic place to work. Autonomy to build your own career and mentor others while getting exposure to all facets of the business M&A, integration, product, etc. If you want a set it and forget it job, move along. This is it not the place to sit back and relax. We work hard here to deliver for our world class investors.

Pros

I've worked at various startups, so I'm used to chaos and ambiguity. Although RigUp, does have an element of that, it's certainly more put together than a lot of companies functioning in the "startup" category. I have a clear direction, know what success looks like, and have the support from all levels of management. The bonus is that I really enjoy everyone I work with! What I love about RigUp, is that I know my work matters. What we all work towards matters and it's very fulfilling. And at the end of the day, I know RigUp is trending in the right direction and that everyone is genuinely trying. I feel fortunate to be on this train, with this team, working towards something that actually makes an impact on the world.

Cons

This isn't a cush job. There is a sense of pressure to perform at a certain standard. I personally am motivated by that, but I've seen it push out coworkers. The other con could be the ups and downs of the industry. But with risk comes reward, and I feel confident the leaders have the knowledge to navigate this crazy time. They've already shown this through well-timed diversification.
