      Pros

      RigUp is a startup. I have worked for startups before joining RigUp and let me tell you, the energy and optimism of the employees and environment here are unmatched. You feel apart of something BIG and it's motivating and exciting! This is a place you join if you are committed and want to see the success of the company. If not, why would you be joining anyway?!

      Cons

      Per any startup, there are going to be growing pains. First-time Founders of companies are learning as they go as well. People forget they are human and hold them to standards of Larry Page! Things change often. Re Orgs happen. Decisions are made with the business and contract workers in mind. You have to be ok with that when joining a startup.

      Pros

      Some great people work here who do their best to make upper level management's blatant negligence seem like it's only temporary.

      Cons

      RigUp for a while on the surface seemed like a great, fast-rising company. Once you peel back the onion just a little it is clear that there is zero direction or little chance of pulling out of this nose-dive. Executive leadership make emotionally driven decisions, based on little data (because there is no data) including terminating employees with no cause. If you have worked anywhere with just an ounce of professionalism and executive direction, RigUp will be a shock to your system.

      Pros

      I can not speak for other departments, but our department head (Manager) is absolutely one of the best human beings I have ever worked for, she is fair, honest and truthful. She expects a lot but also give us a lot of freedom and trust.

      Cons

      The economy is down so business is down, it is tough but it is not exclusive to RigUp.
